Dear Yasmin Alibhai-Brown,

I am chairperson of  the international women’s association  “ The Mothers against violence ” (Belgium).

«The mothers against violence»  is an independent, non –governmental human rights woman’s organization that is dedicated to stopping the violence and for integration of woman’s  around the world.

«The mothers against violence» has been busy in help, opposition of aggression and discrimination of vulnerable groups: women, children, refugees and forced re-settlers, and victims of crimes.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude for your articles about violence against women (The hopelessness I feel at these 'honour' murders) and asylum policy (The brutal reality of our asylum policy).

Very few people from journalists allows to discuss these bleeding wounds of a society openly. We, in Belgium, also try to draw attention of the public to the given problems. However, more often, our appeals will come across a blank wall.

Very often, in Belgium and other countries of the Europe, the woman which marry appear in heavy position. Those who beats, scoffs and forces women, knows, that they can avoid troubles with it.

As nobody guarantees appropriate information and legal support to foreigners. And in particular to women from the Asian countries. «Исламофобия» takes place.

Unfortunately cruelty in relation to weak is an abuse that is not confined to any political or economic system. It is prevalent in each  society in the world.

We agree, that the violence over women takes place because too often the governments turn a blind eye to it and not in a condition to guarantee the help and effective access to justice for women. The police frequently do not conduct proper investigations and forensic evidence is not gathered properly.

Violence against women persists because society allows it to.

Asylum policy - also one of the weakest parts of political system of any European country that causes special alarm. The Geneva convention of 1951 – base for granting a refuge requires essential updating because of what real refugees suffer, and swindlers and "tourists" have an opportunity legal residing at the country under covering of the status of the refugee. As is known, it is already possible and to trade in the given status.

Thus, importance of strategy of development of the general(common) world(global) safety puts a problem(task) of searches of resolution of problems of violence over its(his) any forms in a rank of the major priority of world politics.
